Tricks with followers

You can go throw the guarding fws casting many ghosts. But player can select troops and easy kill your shaman and ghosts will not protect you at all - he clicks attack on you and hold shift key. Fws ignore ghosts and attack directly shaman. Useful key especially when your own shaman is dead.

Good tactic is sending braves from base to attack shaman. Shaman has to kill them instead of go to base and cast powerful spells in it.

Hold shift key and click on hut - follower in hut will go outside. It works also in global view and it's alternative (and faster) way to select followers from huts.

Braves have huge potential and new players (and some experienced too) don't know about it. You have to remember that to train fw or warriors you need mana and some training time. Braves born immediately and don't require any mana. Use your braves to guard, especially in places where shaman can easy fall into water. Good places for brave guarding are backdoors and sidedoors in FO map. They also stop shaman when she is going to your base. Braves are also great when you are destroying base by troops. They are strong assistance for warriors.

Fws can beat group of warriors. Select your fws and keep clicking G key, warriors will not hurt your fws. This trick works when your shaman is alive.

Second version of the trick above (first one is easier to do). Select your fws, hold Shift key and keep clicking on any building on shaman's panel. Shaman don't have to be alive to make trick works.

Third version of this trick bases on the clicking on the unreachable spots.

A smart tactic is putting fws into huts. Shaman has to destroy huts to go to the centre of the base. Players often forget about checking if fws are in hut (just cast ghosts near hut) and their shamans die. Another good idea is putting shaman to hut. When player hit hut by lightning your shaman doesn't die.

Hold Shift key and click on any follower in hut - helpful way to select all followers in the hut.

You can perform a troop wave attack (good for warriors) on an enemy base. Simply select braves, hold CTRL, and click (1) on a training hut, and (2) your target. Then braves will train, and rush to the target after becoming warrior or another unit.
