Populous Mana Source began as a website for gameplay tips. This section contains tips gathered through years of multiplayer gaming, discovered and improved by several members of the community. They are intended for players with all levels of skill - new players, semi-pro players and pro players; and they've been divided into three sections.

Basics Tips contain an introduction to multiplayer gaming, an introduction to the game's interface for starters, and overviews for followers, buildings, and spells.

Advanced Tips contain articles on tricks and the functionality of the game. This section is intended for experienced players.

Lastly, the Tips for Maps section contains gameplay tips specific to maps. This section, as well, is intended for experienced players.
