SHAMAN The Shaman is who you play. She can command a population of up to 199 individuals and cast mighty, destructive spells. Her power comes from a source called mana which is generated by her followers. Mana allows her to cast spells to achieve their goal of becoming a god. If she dies she will be reincarnated in the reincarnation site only if she has any followers.
BRAVE Braves are the people who will do most of the work for you such as building, fighting and wreck buildings. Braves can be trained into either a warrior, preacher, spy or a firewarrior. They reproduce and also provide the mana that charges the shaman's spells.
WARRIOR Warriors are braves which have been trained in the Warrior Training Hut. They use their swords and shields to fight other people. The warriors are the most powerful in physical contact. But apart from that they don't help with building.
PREACHER Preachers are used to make the opposing enemies followers your own. You must put a preacher in front of audience and let him preach. After a while the enemy becomes your own. With firewarriors you may want to put a magical shield on them to protect them. Don't disturb them while they are preaching, or their audience will turn against them
FIREWARRIOR Firewarriors have fire sacks in their hands which helps them to shoot fire. They are very good when packed together but not on their own. They aren't as strong as warriors but they can shoot far if they are on high ground or in a guard tower.
SPY Spies are used to sabotage the enemies buildings. If your buildings seem to be bursting into flame without warning, an enemy spy is probably loose in your camp. If you find the spy click on him and he will unmasked. They are very weak characters and be caught easily.
WILDMEN Wildmen can be converted to braves using the convert spell. At the start of every game there are wildmen for you to convert. The range is fairly big so you can try and convert a whole group. Wildmen have a very short lifespan on some levels, so get them while their available.
