Here's my running commentary for Level 17: Middle Ground. Some of it is strategic, some funny. Enjoy!
0:01 - Off we go! This is my first time trying this … and hopefully not my last.
0:12 - Converted a few lads - hurry up spells. I haven't got all day.
0:35 - Building huts - come on braves, build like you've never built before!
1:09 - Chumara are starting to pray.
2:06 - Converted a few more.
2:21 - Matak, Chumara and Dakini fight for the stone head. Idiots!
2:33 - Got five braves out of a convert. One swarm spell charged so far.
3:01 - Five firewarriors and two preachers made.
3:23 - Another convert. The others are still fighting.
3:42 - Seven braves in a convert. Not bad, eh? Two are going to be warriors, the other five are training to be firewarriors.
4:14 - Huts are nicely going up. All swarm spells are charged. Now onto lightning.
4:52 - More huts on the build.
5:06 - Matak and Dakini fight. Swamp is cast on the stone head.
5:51 - Charging convert again.
6:41 - Two Chumara braves and a firewarrior attack. Is that all you can do?
8:04 - Lightning charged. Now for Hypnotise.
8:38 - Chumara headed over but turned back when they saw one of our preachers taking a public shower.
9:08 - Dakini attack. Two lightning bolts kills the Shaman and her band of firewarriors.
9:45 - World map clear for now.
10:05 - Three braves begin building my guard tower.
10:36 - Tower is finished. Military check: 37 braves, 8 warriors, 21 firewarriors, 7 preachers and no spies - I hate spies!
11:21 - Matak attack me from unguarded entrance.
11:31 - They've certainly paid for it now. I love the battle music!
12:30 - Chumara attack.
12:40 - All gone. Three guard towers now on the build.
12:56 - Stray Dakini warriors attack.
13:12 - Taken down quickly by my men.
13:33 - Guard towers finished. Charging tornado at the moment.
14:45 - Nothing much at the moment. Shaman made herself a cup of tea in her state of the art guard tower. Watching Chumara attack Dakini - will they ever stop?
15:21 - Shaman wants to attack someone. I tell her to wait. She throws cup of tea at me.
15:53 - Earthquake now on charge.
16:10 - Getting rid of spy hut.
16:40 - Chumara attacking Matak.
16:58 - … and me!
17:34 - Most of the Chumara have been sent into the sky and into the lake. There's one damn preacher left with a magical shield.
18:29 - That preacher's outta here!
19:13 - Charging swamp. Silly Chumara brave gets blasted away.
19:34 - … but here comes the rest of the army. Ahh!
19:58 - They're all gone now.
20:02 - Now the Dakini want a go. Will they ever stop?
20:08 - Bye bye firewarrior.
20:12 - Bye bye brave.
20:24 - BYE BYE PREACHER!
20:32 - There's loads of fireworks coming from camp today!
21:48 - Erode is on the charge. Two huts are going up.
22:15 - My Shaman joined in with the fighting and blasted an enemy preacher who was already dead and managed to kill one of my warriors. Ah but I love her.
22:30 - 60 braves, 15 warriors, 38 firewarriors, 9 preachers and 0 spies - I hate spies!
23:12 - Dakini move. I cast swamp. They die. Job done.
23:46 - Matak casts swarm on my camp. Everyone goes crazy - even the Shaman! I didn't know she was affected. Couldn't kill Matak Shaman unfortunately.
24:38 - Mass bust up at the stone head.
25:16 - Sent a single brave to the head. He was killed quickly.
25:31 - Sent off four swarms in anger.
26:04 - its so funny to seem the enemy run all over the place. He he.
26:16 - Just got the Chumara Shaman scream in my ear three times.
27:33 - Charging firestorm. Crazy Matak sent tornado off at the nothing.
28:33 - Which tribe to finish first? Erm, Matak but by physical force. Am training a few braves now.
29:42 - Attacked by Chumara. Blasted most into the lake. I can here an annoying enemy preacher somewhere babbling words of nonsense.
31:09 - Shaman yawns so I slap her.
32:11 - Gathering half of my forces. Shaman burns my hair off.
32:36 - Attack from Dakini but my army clears it up before I notice.
33:14 - Matak army stupidly marches into my marshalling army.
33:57 - Rogue warrior in camp. Being destroyed now.
34:26 - Have 47 to attack the Matak. Off they go.
36:46 - That didn't go to plan.
39:49 - Sending off more.
40:28 - Chumara Shaman set place alight with firestorm while I'm busy with the Matak. I am so going to finish her off soon. She will get a volcano in the middle of her settlement when I'm finished. Army in Matak camp is doing well.
41:36 - Oh, maybe they're not.
42:05 - Dakini Shaman casts tornado on herself, kills me with a lightning bold, casts two swarms and then walks away. Where's the justice of that?
44:29 - Am really angry now. Marching to Dakini camp with full blast, swarm, hypnotise, lightning, tornado, swamp, firestorm, erode, earthquake and volcano.
46:29 - Did some damage.
47:42 - Taking army of 65 to Matak settlement.
48:07 - Sending 17 in first.
48:42 - Another 19 go in.
50:18 - Rest going in. Am going to rebuild army. This might take some time.
56:29 - Chumara attacking Dakini. Still rebuilding.
59:40 - Still rebuilding.
1:04:57 - Have another army of 39.
1:05:16 - Going in to Matak.
1:07:50 - Did good. Another lot going in.
1:11:32 - Matak are finally defeated. Yay!
1:12:23 - I think I will get rid of the Chumara now. Nine braves are building me a balloon hut at the minute.
1:14:00 - Off now to Chumara in balloon with sweetheart, Max Firewarrior. He's been worshipping me for ages so I sent him this message:
Dear Firewarrior,
You have won a wonderful cruise over the sea with the sexy Shaman. Please present yourself at the main guard tower and prepare yourself for a massive treat!

1:16:12 - And the massive treat was being fired into the ocean by seven enemy firewarriors. Sorry Max! Now where's his friend Bob?
1:16:45 - I finally reincarnate after stopping off at McDonalds for a BigMac.
1:17:16 - Am going to finish Dakini.
1:22:10 - Dakini have now gone.
1:23:30 - Going in to Chumara. They are so going to die! Walk over with 116 army behind me.
1:24:53 - Cast volcano in Chumara army - all dead! Army goes in to finish job.
1:25:24 - Yay! Finished level. Killed 546 enemies and lost 225 of my followers. Not bad for a day's work, don't you think?
