The six scrolls of the 'New Populous Story' were found as part of an extensive search in some of the old archives of the Northern Territory. Critic and finder, Jaa ach'Sö, is currently researching the locations of the other scrolls which will soon be added upon their retrieval.
It has been noted that the Scroll ID is somewhat similar to that of the 'Old Populous Story' (AB_511_3/11) and that these two are interrelated somehow.

literary criticism
This source is seen to be more reliable than the 'Old Populous Story' despite being written a few years after the original (c.125). It has been noted that there are striking similarities between the two sources and many believe that they both have the same writer.
In addition, this source appears to have chapter headings.
