REMEMBERING THE PAST Never before had our settlement celebrated as much as we did that night. I had never known the town to be so lively for something that seemed so small and insignificant. I never got a chance to really talk to Rhünilde until dawn had risen the next day. Still then, celebrations were continuing. I, however, had managed to get a good night's rest.
