Populous: New Worlds is an idea to liven up Populous and bring the players more variety.  For those that don't know, Hepple made a program a while back which enabled us to make new maps for Populous.  Since then he has disappeared, so TheGabber pretty much took over.  We now design new maps and release them to the public to bring more fun to their games.  We've made it as easy as possible for people to be able to play any mappack that they wish by simply executing the file before they launch.  So our new maps shouldn't cause any troubles, so long as people read the instructions and communicate which maps they want to play in the lobby.  

We are currently in search of solutions to all the problems in the populous.net matchmaker.  The webmaster for pop.net is no longer with EA™/Bullfrog™, so it's dying a slow death.  We hope to bring the players a new lobby, which is free of flooders and has a working points system.  However, this is merely a dream at the moment, but you should still keep up to date on what we are doing, if you're interested.  EA™ didn't give Populous much of a chance, so we the players hope to do it ourselves.
