Nonetheless, I cannot ignore what's been put in front of me.' 'An almighty task,' I summed up. 'I have to give you credit though - I wouldn't be able for a task now at all - even in ten, twenty years! I think the heavens chose the right person though. I mean, who else could they have chosen?' Rhünilde turned and stared at me straight in the eye. 'But they didn't, did they?' I said, answering her question. 'They chose you - you are the one that is to lead us against the enemy.' 'Do you think its right that I feel so against going to war and battle?' Rhünilde asked. 'Maybe. I'm not sure - I've never witnessed a battle. I guess if it was very important, then you would have to change your mind. War, as you know, is always a last resort - the last straw. Everything else must be tried before you should take up that plan.' She nodded. 'Though war never has any winners. Both sides loose equally as much even though one side claims to win.'

'Don't confuse me,' I said, laughing. 'It's not even noon and you start talking complicated! It must be the magic inside you.' 'Actually, according to the priests, that's not meant to kick in for another few months. So at the minute no wonderful magical powers. I can't turn you into a toad … yet.' She turned smiling. 'Oh if only our places had been switched!' I said, getting up and walking into the lake, until I was knee high into the water. 'What are you looking at?' Rhünilde asked. I turned around. 'Looking at how wet you're going to get.' I lifted my foot and instantly, a wave of water drenched Rhünilde on the lakeside. 'Why you …!' she said, running into the lake. It wasn't long before we were both completely soaking in the middle of the lake - well away from the tree though. Thankfully, nobody had come walking by so we, in sense, could relax and wouldn't have to explain ourselves to anyone that came our way. 'I will get you back Arra when this magic kicks in,' Rhünilde promised, walking out of the lake,
