For starters, Populous Launcher has been updated to Version 1.0.5 with changes that affect the user-interface in Windows XP. View the downloads page for more information. The Online Rules pages was updated with a few gramatical and spelling corrections making things appear to be more professional. The largest update is for you map-makers out there, an entirely new section which explains good map-making habbits to help you get off on the right track. View the Map Editing section for more details on proper level design practices.
On another note, due to the complication of things in Populous: Skirmish Mode, I have decided to discard Codename "New Life" for the time being since progress hasn't been made on it since it was started and I would rather focus on one project ensuring to create high-quality software for the people who use my programs.

The Online Rules section of the site has been updated to more clearly reflect the proper etiquette that should be used.
The site forums are finally starting to get some activity with a new Face Off strategy posted by Smudgy as well as some other fun topics in the Off-Topic Section. I have been working diligently on Populous Skirmish BETA 4, but I still do not know when a release date will be.

A new section has been added for newcomers to the world of Populous Modding. Click the Getting Started link on the navigation bar to the left to find information on what programs should be used to edit a certain aspect of Populous.
