'What was the last one?' I asked.
'The Angel of Death. A very complex spell but very deadly when used on the enemy. But that will take a few months to master. We must get you to learn the spells and then start building that precious mana up. At the minute, with your body fighting it, you're losing a lot of mana. But because you have a high count, it won't matter that much.'
'So when can I start learning?' I asked eagerly. These spells, the real part of being a Shaman, sounded so intriguing.
'When you want to,' Bartholomew said. 'But I suggest that you continue your training with Thealosius for at least a month before you come to me. By then, you might have your mana under control.' He nodded. 'I shall see you in good time then. Farewell then and make the luck of the gods be with you.' He swept away through the door and I looked back at Thealosius.
'Let's get working then,' he said determined.
