Even though I was the Shaman, I felt my mother had more power than me and I felt that I had to always obey her even though I was more powerful in terms of strength and magic. My family soon had breakfast and afterwards, I left to go to the temple. There was no point me going anywhere else but the temple because I'd get treated the same. The temple was a magnificent building in the middle of our settlement. In the morning light, it looked symbolical and holy. I walked along the straw mats and entered the temple. Inside, hundreds of candles were burning under strict control as the temple was made of wood. I headed downwards, not knowing where to go. The roof of the temple was held up by massive, white columns with strange inscriptions on them. Some priests were actually reading them and talking about them to others.

I waited in the temple and in no time, a priest came up to me and asked me to follow him. He was taking me down to meet my trainer. We went through a series of passageways underground and soon came to a room. I entered and saw the man who was to teach me. 'Shaman Arra Veln,' he said, taking off his hat and bowing. 'I am Thealosius, I will be your trainer for the time being.' I nodded in reply. 'Please sit down.' I did as I was told. There were many funny instruments in the room and shelves of books and documents. There were around three desks all littered with parchment and ink. 'Welcome among us,' Thealosius began. 'We have waited many years for your coming. We knew that this would be a very special day.' 'You knew that I was the Shaman?' I asked. 'Not entirely but we knew that the Shaman was in your group.
