Playing Online Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting:

Q 1. I can't host any games

A. 1. You need to enable populous 3, UW and Reincarnated Matchmaker to access the internet and act as a server with your firewall

2. If you are behind a router you need to Set up Port forwarding. To do this set the port forwarding of port 7575 UDP to the IP of the computer you are using and make sure you have matchmaker 1.2.3.6+

3. If you have windows XP check its built-in firewall and make sure populous has correct access

4. If you are using proxies you also may not be able to host games

Q 2. I can't Win any games

A. It is highly recommended that you have finished single player and if you have just keep playing and playing and you will get better. Developing your own strategy is important but if you would like a look at someone else's strategy click here

Q 3. I was playing online with someone and they cheated

A. Report it immediately to ALACN, TheGabber, or Incawarrior.
